Opening Note

Today’s Theme: A New Beginning Is Allowed to Need Support

Monday brings a powerful combination of movement, hope and reality.

The Aries Moon is ready to begin. Jupiter sees what is possible. Saturn arrives with the blueprint, budget and structural requirements.

Meanwhile, Mars is discovering that determination cannot overcome every limitation, and Venus is beginning a longer examination of whether our relationships and agreements are genuinely balanced.

Today’s message is not: “If it is meant to be, it will be easy.”

It is: “If it matters, build the support that allows it to continue.”

A new beginning may wobble. The plan may need revision. Something may require more assistance than expected.

None of that automatically means the beginning was wrong.

Today’s Heart Energy

Aries Moon: Ready to Move

The Moon remains in Aries all day, creating a strong desire for action, autonomy and forward movement.

After an emotionally intense eclipse week, we may feel ready to reclaim control. Something that felt overwhelming may finally appear manageable.

This can bring:

  • Motivation

  • Courage

  • Directness

  • Restlessness

  • Impatience with uncertainty

  • A desire to make decisions

  • Renewed confidence

  • The need to do something tangible

The Aries Moon helps us cross a threshold. But Aries can treat beginning as the entire assignment. Today reminds us that starting something and creating a structure capable of sustaining it are different tasks.

Moon Opposite Venus: Independence Meets Relationship

Around 12:46 p.m. Pacific, the Aries Moon opposes Venus in Libra.

This brings personal needs into direct conversation with relationships, agreements and shared responsibility.

We may need to balance:

  • Independence and cooperation

  • Personal desire and relational impact

  • Helping and overextending

  • Maintaining peace and telling the truth

  • What one person wants and what others can realistically provide

  • Autonomy and appropriate support

The goal is not perfect agreement. It is honest agreement. A compromise that requires one person to continually abandon themselves is not truly balanced.

The Moon Goes Void

Immediately after opposing Venus, the Moon begins a void-of-course period that lasts until it enters Taurus around 1:02 a.m. Tuesday.

This does not mean plans must stop or that nothing meaningful can happen. It suggests that the story may not unfold exactly as expected.

The afternoon and evening are best approached with flexibility. Something beginning today may require:

  • Revised expectations

  • Additional information

  • A different schedule

  • More help

  • Clearer boundaries

  • A practical adjustment once the plan meets real life

Do not use one difficult moment as proof that the entire path is wrong. Do not use one easy moment as proof that nothing else will be required.

Let experience provide information.

The Larger Sky

Jupiter Trine Saturn: Hope With a Working Structure

Jupiter in Leo forms an exact trine with Saturn retrograde in Aries around 3:17 p.m. Pacific.

This is one of the most constructive aspects of the current sky.

Jupiter says: “More is possible.”

Saturn replies: “Then build something capable of holding it.”

Together they support:

  • Sustainable growth

  • Hope grounded in preparation

  • Creativity supported by discipline

  • Expansion protected by boundaries

  • Long-term plans divided into manageable steps

  • Greater independence made possible through appropriate support

  • Confidence that does not ignore reality

This is the first of three Jupiter–Saturn trines, with the story continuing into April and July 2027. We are not required to complete the entire vision today. We are establishing the structure upon which something larger can gradually grow.

Mars Approaches Saturn: The Capacity Test

Mars in Cancer is approaching a square with Saturn in Aries, becoming exact early Tuesday.

Mars acts because something matters emotionally. It protects, provides and responds to need. Saturn asks whether the action is appropriate and sustainable.

This may feel like:

  • Effort meeting a delay

  • Care meeting a boundary

  • Family needs exceeding personal capacity

  • Frustration with physical or financial limitations

  • Wanting to help but being unable to do everything

  • Discovering that the current method requires too much force

  • Feeling guilty for needing assistance

A limitation does not always invalidate the goal. Sometimes it invalidates the method.

Before pushing harder, ask whether more support, clearer roles or a different approach would create a better result.

Mercury in Virgo: Put the Plan Into Human Language

Mercury in Virgo is moving toward a supportive sextile with Mars while adjusting to Saturn.

We may be able to identify what needs to happen next, but the details matter.

Today favors:

  • Writing down instructions

  • Clarifying expectations

  • Asking practical questions

  • Assigning responsibility clearly

  • Creating schedules or lists

  • Verifying important information

  • Separating what must happen today from what can wait

  • Identifying where the plan lacks support

A plan needing revision is not a failed plan. It is a plan receiving new information.

Venus Enters Her Retrograde Shadow

Today Venus reaches 22°52′ Libra and enters the territory she will revisit during her October–November retrograde.

This begins a longer story around:

  • Relationships

  • Money

  • Values

  • Reciprocity

  • Fairness

  • Shared resources

  • Emotional and practical agreements

  • What we give and receive

  • Where harmony has depended upon over-accommodation

Something arising now may return for review during October and November.

That does not mean today’s agreement is destined to fail. It means experience may reveal what needs to be renegotiated. Pay attention to where the exchange appears balanced in theory but feels different in practice.

What This Energy May Feel Like

Today may feel like:

  • Excitement mixed with apprehension

  • Wanting to get something underway

  • Feeling hopeful about a larger possibility

  • Realizing that enthusiasm alone is not a complete plan

  • Negotiating different needs or expectations

  • Discovering that a task requires more help than anticipated

  • Feeling frustrated by delays

  • Wanting independence while also needing support

  • Recognizing where responsibility has become uneven

  • Receiving useful information after the plan begins

  • Needing to revise a schedule, agreement or boundary

  • Feeling tempted to become the invisible backup system

  • Understanding that adjustment does not equal failure

Supportive Actions for Today

  • Identify the one priority that genuinely belongs to today.

  • Put important instructions or agreements in writing.

  • Clarify who is responsible for each task.

  • Build flexibility into the afternoon.

  • Ask for help before reaching complete depletion.

  • Notice where a verbal agreement contains unspoken assumptions.

  • Treat logistical difficulty as information rather than judgment.

  • Avoid promising unlimited availability.

  • Let the first version of the plan remain adjustable.

  • Remember that receiving support does not cancel independence.

  • Choose sustainable progress over heroic effort.

A Thought to Sit With

What support would allow this beginning to become something you can actually sustain?

Aries Rising: Your personal needs and relationships require honest balance. You are allowed to lead, but sustainable growth includes agreements that recognize everyone’s actual capacity.

Taurus Rising: Rest, health and daily responsibilities may be pulling in different directions. A quieter form of preparation can support meaningful changes at home or within your emotional foundation.

Gemini Rising: Future plans, friendship and community are highlighted. Balance the larger vision with joy, creativity and what genuinely gives something back to you.

Cancer Rising: Career or public direction may be moving forward while home and personal resources require attention. Success needs a structure that does not depend upon continual self-sacrifice.

Leo Rising: A larger vision wants to grow, but communication and practical details matter. Confidence returns when the plan becomes specific enough to support real movement.

Virgo Rising: Shared resources, trust and personal finances may require clearer agreements. Support is valuable, but it must not quietly become emotional debt or unspoken obligation.

Libra Rising: Relationships hold today’s central lesson. Cooperation remains possible, but peace cannot be built through continually negotiating away your own needs.

Scorpio Rising: Work, health and restoration require adjustment. Career growth becomes more sustainable when your daily routines account for your actual energy.

Sagittarius Rising: Creativity, joy and future plans are expanding. Let the dream become larger while remaining honest about what it will require from you.

Capricorn Rising: Home and public responsibilities may compete for attention. Shared support can help, but the division of responsibility must be explicit rather than assumed.

Aquarius Rising: Communication, decisions and beliefs are changing shape. A relationship or collaboration may offer opportunity, but long-term success requires clear expectations.

Pisces Rising: Money, worth and shared resources come into focus. Practical improvements are possible when receiving help does not require surrendering your power.

A Note From Mandy

We often imagine that the right beginning will arrive fully prepared.

The plan will make sense. Everyone will understand their role. The energy will be available.

The path will open without resistance. And when reality looks less graceful than that, we begin wondering whether we misunderstood the direction.

But beginnings are rarely complete systems. They are invitations into information we could not gather from the outside.

We begin and discover what the plan forgot. We try and recognize where support is missing.

We move and learn which expectation was unrealistic. We accept help and understand which agreements require clearer boundaries.

This does not mean we have failed.

It means the beginning has become real enough to teach us. There is a difference between encountering a difficulty and encountering a fundamental incompatibility. One asks for adjustment. The other asks for a different direction.

We usually cannot know which one we are facing until we stop treating every problem as a verdict.

Today, allow the plan to meet life. Let people show you what they can actually provide. Let the body reveal what it can actually sustain. Let the arrangement identify its weak places.

Then build from what becomes known.

A new beginning does not lose its promise because it needs support.

Sometimes support is what finally allows the promise to become a life.

Looking Ahead

Tuesday around 1:02 a.m. Pacific: The Moon enters Taurus, bringing greater steadiness and attention to physical comfort, money and practical security.

Early Tuesday: Mars squares Saturn. Effort encounters a limit that may reveal where more support or a different method is required.

Tuesday morning: Mercury sextiles Mars, helping us communicate clearly, organize the details and make practical adjustments.

Today does not ask us to have the final plan. It asks us to begin honestly enough for the workable plan to reveal itself.
