Opening Note
Today’s Theme: You Do Not Have to Spend Every Ounce of Energy You Find
The sky appears to have received the weekend memo, at least until dinner. 😂
For most of Saturday, the Moon remains in Pisces and continues the long void-of-course period that began yesterday morning. After an emotionally, intuitively and physically intense eclipse week, this gives us a much-needed pause.
Pisces dims the lights, passes around the blankets and asks everyone to take one collective deep breath.
Then, around 7:37 p.m. Pacific, the Moon enters Aries.
Aries bursts through the door holding a match and a clipboard, announcing that it has seventeen ideas, three urgent decisions and no understanding of why everyone is still wearing pajamas.
The shift may be unmistakable.
Energy may return. Motivation may spark. Something that felt impossible earlier may suddenly seem entirely manageable.
But returning energy is not necessarily an instruction to spend it all in one burst.
Today asks us to recognize the difference between:
Feeling an impulse and needing to act upon it
Receiving an idea and accepting an assignment
Experiencing relief and being completely recovered
Having one productive hour and possessing unlimited capacity
Feeling ready for something new and needing to begin it immediately
The Pisces Moon offers most of the day for emotional integration.
The Aries Moon returns the spark tonight.
Our work is to let the spark become information before handing it control of the entire weekend.
The Heart Energy
Pisces Moon: The Deep Breath After the Eclipse
The Moon remains in Pisces throughout most of Saturday, carrying us through the emotional aftermath of Thursday’s lunar eclipse.
An eclipse may come and go within a few moments, but our bodies and lives do not process its meaning according to a stopwatch. Feelings can continue moving. Dreams may remain unusually vivid. Memories or realizations may surface in pieces. The nervous system may still be sorting through what was illuminated, disrupted or released.
Pisces does not organize experience into a clean report. It absorbs. It dreams. It allows one feeling to dissolve into another until something larger begins taking shape beneath the surface.
Today may therefore feel quiet, tired, tender, foggy or strangely unstructured. We may know that something important happened without being able to explain precisely what it means.
That is not a failure on our part to understand the eclipse, rather it is part of it.
Not every realization arrives as a full sentence. Some truths must first move through the body as grief, relief, fatigue, anger, longing or silence.
The Void-of-Course Moon: Let the Story Remain Unfinished
The Pisces Moon has been void of course since Friday morning and remains so until entering Aries tonight. A void Moon does not mean that nothing matters. It suggests that the emotional story may not develop in a direct, predictable or final way.
Plans can drift. Motivation can disappear and return. Conversations may wander. Something that felt deeply important yesterday may lose its urgency today, only to reveal a different meaning tomorrow.
This is not ideal energy for forcing certainty from an experience that is still unfolding.
It is better suited for:
Resting without needing to justify the rest
Completing familiar or gentle tasks
Allowing plans to remain flexible
Spending time near water, music, creativity or nature
Writing down and or reflecting on what surfaced during the eclipse
Letting feelings move without turning each one into a conclusion
Tending to the body after emotional overstimulation
Doing less than the mind believes the weekend must contain
Leaving room for imagination without requiring immediate execution
Pisces reminds us that integration is not inactivity. A great deal may be reorganizing beneath the surface, even when very little appears to be happening externally.
Moon Quincunx Venus: Rest Versus Relational Expectations
The Pisces Moon forms an awkward connection with Venus in Libra early today.
Both Pisces and Libra value kindness, harmony and connection, but they can also become overly responsive to what everyone else needs.
Pisces senses the emotional atmosphere.
Libra notices what might preserve peace.
Together, they can make it tempting to say yes simply because saying no feels uncomfortable.
We may find ourselves caught between:
Wanting rest but not wanting to disappoint someone
Needing quiet but feeling responsible for everyone’s enjoyment
Wanting connection but lacking the energy to be fully present
Feeling emotionally tender while attempting to appear agreeable
Agreeing to a plan because explaining our exhaustion feels harder
Trying to make the day pleasant for everyone while ignoring what would make it restorative for us
The Sun’s lingering semisquare to Venus adds another layer of subtle dissatisfaction. We may feel as though we should be enjoying ourselves more, connecting more easily or making better use of the weekend.
But discomfort does not always mean something needs to be fixed. Sometimes it means our capacity and our expectations are temporarily out of alignment.
A "yes" given to make discomfort disappear can quietly borrow energy from tomorrow.
Moon Enters Aries: The Spark Returns
Around 7:37 p.m. Pacific, the Moon leaves Pisces and enters Aries. The energetic difference may feel dramatic.
Where Pisces drifts, Aries moves. Where Pisces senses everything, Aries identifies the next immediate desire. Where Pisces says, “Let me feel into this,” Aries says, “Excellent. I have felt it. Now where is the button?”
We may notice:
A sudden increase in energy
Restlessness after a slow or sleepy day
The desire to leave the house or change plans
A creative or physical impulse
Irritation with uncertainty
A need to reclaim agency
A burst of confidence
The urge to begin something new
Less patience for emotional complexity
A feeling that we should make up for "lost" time
This spark is real and valuable. It may be the first sign that life is beginning to move again after the eclipse.
But Aries energy can treat availability as urgency. The moment an idea appears, it wants to act. The moment energy returns, it wants to spend it. The moment a door becomes visible, it wants to run through it.
Tonight’s invitation is not to suppress the spark.
It is to hold the match without immediately setting the entire calendar on fire.
Mind and Body
Mercury and Saturn: Give One Insight a Useful Shape
Mercury in Virgo forms a creative biquintile with Saturn in Aries early today. This is a subtler aspect, but it offers something valuable within an otherwise fluid morning:
The ability to give one thought, realization or responsibility a practical shape.
After an eclipse, the mind may try to organize everything at once. Mercury in Virgo notices every detail. Saturn wants a plan. But the quieter nature of this connection suggests that we do not need to solve the entire future.
We might simply:
Acknowledge or write down the clearest insight from the past few days
Identify one boundary that needs strengthening
Make one practical appointment
Organize one small area
Decide what genuinely requires attention next week
Create a short list instead of mentally carrying everything
Turn one realization into one sustainable practice
We do not need a comprehensive eclipse action plan.
We need one container strong enough to hold what we already understand.
The Sun and Mercury Separate from Uranus: The Nervous System Is Still Buzzing
The Virgo Sun remains close to its square with Uranus in Gemini, while Mercury is also separating from its Uranian square. The exact contacts have passed, but their electricity remains in the atmosphere.
This can feel like:
A tired body with an active mind
Sudden ideas arriving during moments of rest
Difficulty settling after a stimulating week
Technology or communication continuing to feel erratic
A strong desire to change something immediately
Mental clarity arriving faster than emotional readiness
Feeling restless without knowing what action would actually help
Becoming irritated by noise, interruption or excessive demands
Wanting a clean answer while the experience remains complicated
Uranus can deliver genuine breakthroughs. It can reveal what has become outdated, false or too restrictive. But not every disruptive thought is a divine instruction.
Sometimes the nervous system is simply attempting to discharge accumulated energy.
Acknowledge or write down the idea.
Let the realization exist.
Notice what feels newly possible.
Then allow time to reveal whether this is a lasting direction or merely the mind’s first attempt to regain control after uncertainty.
Mars Approaches Saturn: Returning Energy Meets a Real Limit
Mars in Cancer continues approaching its square with Saturn in Aries, which becomes exact Tuesday morning. This is one of the strongest background influences shaping the weekend.
Mars in Cancer acts through care, protection, emotion and instinct. It wants to respond when someone is vulnerable. It wants to help the family, secure the home and make sure everyone is okay.
Saturn in Aries asks whether the action is sustainable, appropriate and genuinely ours to carry.
This may show up as:
Wanting to help but lacking the physical capacity
Feeling responsible for someone else’s emotional state
Becoming frustrated by delays or limitations
Attempting to push through exhaustion
Family needs conflicting with personal recovery
Resenting responsibilities we previously accepted
Feeling guilty when the body requires a boundary
Wanting immediate movement while circumstances demand patience
Discovering that determination cannot replace adequate support
The Aries Moon tonight may briefly make us feel capable of overcoming every limitation Mars has encountered.
But Saturn is not questioning whether we care. It is asking whether our way of caring can continue. One burst of energy does not erase the body’s accumulated need for recovery.
One good evening does not create an unlimited reserve.
Relationships and Collective Energy
Jupiter Approaches Saturn: Hope Needs Somewhere Safe to Live
Jupiter in Leo continues moving toward a supportive trine with Saturn in Aries, becoming exact Monday.
This is an encouraging influence beneath the current tension. Jupiter sees possibility. Saturn understands what the possibility will require.
Together they support:
Hope grounded in reality
Growth protected by healthy boundaries
Creative confidence supported by preparation
Enthusiasm directed toward something sustainable
Leadership that includes responsibility
Expansion without abandoning what keeps us stable
Building structures capable of holding a larger dream
This weekend may begin revealing what wants to grow next. But we are not required to build the entire structure the moment the idea arrives. Let Jupiter show you what is possible.
Let Saturn help you determine what is viable.
Possibility becomes far more trustworthy when it is given a realistic place to live.
Vesta Retrograde: Protect the Flame
Vesta remains newly retrograde in Aries, turning our attention toward devotion, purpose and the way we use our life force.
Aries wants the flame to burn bright. But retrograde Vesta asks us to examine what has been feeding it and what it has been consuming.
We may need to ask:
What am I genuinely devoted to?
What am I maintaining because I fear disappointing someone?
Has commitment quietly become self-erasure?
Am I using exhaustion as proof that something matters?
What am I continually giving energy to without receiving renewal?
Which responsibility has outlived its sacred purpose?
What would help my devotion become sustainable again?
The Late-Afternoon Temptation to Overdo It
Late this afternoon, the Pisces Moon makes a minor tense connection with Jupiter. This may create a subtle pressure to make the day bigger than our actual capacity allows.
We may suddenly think:
We should go somewhere.
We should accomplish more.
We should make the weekend memorable.
We should feel better by now.
We should take advantage of every free moment.
We should compensate for everything we could not do earlier in the week.
Jupiter can turn one desire into an entire itinerary. Before agreeing, check whether the idea feels genuinely nourishing or whether it is attempting to outrun discomfort.
The day does not need to become impressive in order to be meaningful.
What This Energy May Feel Like
Today may feel like:
Waking up tired despite length and quality of sleep
Feeling emotionally quieter but not completely settled
Needing time alone without wanting to feel isolated
Remembering additional pieces of the eclipse story
Experiencing vivid dreams or unusual symbolism
Feeling unable to make a firm plan
Wanting comfort, beauty or connection while lacking social energy
Feeling guilty for resting
Noticing that ordinary demands feel unusually loud
Receiving a useful practical insight in the middle of emotional fog
Having several ideas but no desire to act upon them yet
Feeling physically tired but mentally overstimulated
Becoming frustrated when care meets a necessary limit
Wanting to reclaim momentum
Feeling an unmistakable burst of energy after the Moon enters Aries
Mistaking evening motivation for complete recovery
Feeling hopeful about what comes next while still needing time to process what just happened
There is nothing wrong with you if your energy changes dramatically throughout the day. The sky changes dramatically too.
Supportive Actions for Today
Let the morning remain slower than your expectations.
Drink water and give the body simple, nourishing food.
Write down dreams, feelings or realizations without forcing interpretation.
Choose familiar tasks over major new undertakings.
Reduce noise, notifications and unnecessary stimulation.
Avoid making plans solely to prevent someone else’s disappointment.
Ask what your body can sustain before asking what your mind wants to accomplish.
Give one eclipse insight a practical container.
Keep tonight’s spontaneous ideas small, reversible and optional.
Move the Aries energy physically through walking, stretching, cleaning or dancing.
Record new ideas instead of immediately committing to them.
Allow yourself to enjoy returning energy without spending all of it.
Leave something in reserve for tomorrow.
Remember that rest does not have to be earned through exhaustion.
A Thought to Sit With
What if the energy you protect today becomes the strength that carries what truly matters tomorrow?
Soul 101 Coaching Tip
When your energy returns after a difficult period, pause before assigning it a job.
Divide a page into three sections:
What I have available: Name your actual emotional, physical, mental and financial capacity, not the capacity you wish you had.
What genuinely needs my energy: Identify what is important, time-sensitive or truly yours to carry.
What restores my energy: Include the people, practices, environments and choices that put something back rather than continually drawing from you.
Then ask: How much of today’s energy am I willing to leave unspent?
We often treat renewed energy like an unexpected financial deposit. After living with scarcity, we feel immediate relief and begin spending as though the account has been permanently replenished.
But one deposit is not the same as ongoing income. One energetic opening is not the same as complete restoration. Learning to leave something in reserve is not withholding from life.
It is how we begin building a life that does not require repeated collapse.

Aries Rising: Most of the day asks for retreat, rest and emotional integration. When the Moon enters your sign tonight, energy and self-awareness may return suddenly. Welcome the spark without believing you must immediately reinvent your entire life. Your body may need more recovery than your enthusiasm admits.
Taurus Rising: Friends, community or thoughts about the future may feel emotionally significant today. You may need connection, but not necessarily activity. Tonight the Moon enters your private 12th house, suggesting that the most useful response to returning energy may still be rest, reflection or quietly following an intuitive thread.
Gemini Rising: Career, purpose or visibility may remain emotionally charged after the eclipse. Allow uncertainty around direction to breathe. Tonight’s Aries Moon turns your attention toward community, audiences and future plans. A new idea may arrive through conversation, but it does not need to become a commitment before you understand its demands.
Cancer Rising: The Pisces Moon helps you process changing beliefs, plans or understandings of the future. Tonight, energy moves toward career, responsibility and public direction. You may feel pressure to take charge, but Mars in your sign is approaching Saturn. Leadership includes acknowledging what you cannot sustainably carry alone.
Leo Rising: Trust, shared resources, emotional obligations or vulnerability may require gentleness today. You do not need to solve every entanglement immediately. Tonight’s Aries Moon can restore optimism and a larger sense of possibility. Let hope return without requiring it to answer every practical question before morning.
Virgo Rising: Relationships remain an important emotional mirror. You may be processing what was revealed about connection, boundaries or the roles you occupy for others. Tonight the focus moves toward deeper agreements, shared resources and emotional honesty. Avoid making promises simply because renewed energy makes them appear manageable.
Libra Rising: Work, health, responsibilities and daily routines ask for softness today. The body may need a very different weekend than the social calendar imagined. When the Moon enters Aries tonight, relationships become more active. Someone else’s urgency does not automatically need to become your assignment.
Scorpio Rising: Creativity, joy, romance, children or self-expression can help the eclipse energy move today. Follow what feels restorative without forcing it to become productive. Tonight’s Aries Moon activates work and health. A burst of motivation may help with one useful task, but do not turn one task into a complete overhaul.
Sagittarius Rising: Home, family and emotional history may remain especially tender. Give yourself permission to move slowly and privately. Tonight’s Aries Moon brings a welcome creative or playful spark. Let yourself enjoy it. Joy does not have to become a plan, a project or something you perform for anyone else.
Capricorn Rising: Your mind may still be sorting through conversations, information or realizations from the eclipse. Write things down and avoid forcing a final interpretation. Tonight attention moves toward home and family. Energy may be needed there, but Mars and Saturn warn against becoming the sole structure supporting everyone.
Aquarius Rising: Money, worth, possessions or personal capacity may require emotional processing. Notice where scarcity is creating urgency that the actual circumstances do not require. Tonight’s Aries Moon energizes communication and ideas. Capture what arrives, but give important messages another reading before sending them.
Pisces Rising: With the Moon in your sign most of the day, the eclipse may still feel deeply personal, physical or emotional. Protect your sensitivity. Tonight the Moon enters your financial and self-worth territory, which may awaken practical concerns or income ideas. Let the idea develop before asking it to prove your value.
Signs Feeling It Most
Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius may still be moving through the strongest eclipse aftershocks. Mutable signs often attempt to adapt quickly, but the meaning of what changed may still be emerging. You are allowed to remain between versions of the story.
Cancer and Aries may feel the approaching Mars–Saturn tension most directly. Desire, care and urgency are meeting limits that cannot be overcome through willpower alone. The boundary is not evidence that you do not care enough.
Leo, Aries and Sagittarius may begin sensing the encouragement of the approaching Jupiter–Saturn trine. Possibility is returning, but the most promising growth will be the growth supported by a realistic structure.
A Note From Mandy
One of the most deceptive moments in any period of exhaustion is the first moment we begin to feel better.
For days, perhaps weeks, we have been moving carefully. We have postponed things, disappointed ourselves, watched responsibilities accumulate and wondered when we would finally feel like ourselves again.
Then one morning or perhaps one Aries evening, the energy returns. Not all of it. Just enough for us to recognize ourselves. And because we have missed that person so much, we immediately begin handing them everything they could not carry while they were gone.
Here are the unfinished tasks.
Here are the people who need something.
Here are the plans we postponed.
Here are the decisions we were too tired to make.
Here is the future we believe we must catch up to.
Within moments, the first small evidence of restoration becomes responsible for repairing the entire period of depletion.
Then, when the energy disappears again, we assume we were mistaken. We tell ourselves we are lazy, inconsistent, unmotivated or incapable of following through. But perhaps the energy did not betray us. Perhaps we simply spent it before it had a chance to become strength.
Recovery is not the brief interval between useful periods. It is a living process through which the body, mind and spirit learn that they will no longer be emptied the moment they offer something back.
Today, you may feel very little energy. Let that be honest.
Tonight, you may feel a sudden spark. Let that be honest too.
But you do not have to turn either state into a judgment about who you are or what you will be capable of tomorrow.
Let the spark warm you.
Let it remind you that movement will return.
Let it illuminate one small thing that matters.
And then, perhaps, allow the flame to remain safely lit without asking it to burn down everything standing between you and the future.
You do not have to spend every ounce of energy you find.
Sometimes keeping a little is how you teach yourself that more will be allowed to come.
Looking Ahead
Saturday around 7:37 p.m. Pacific: The Moon enters Aries, ending the long Pisces void-of-course period. Energy, initiative and impatience may rise quickly. Use the spark for movement or one manageable action without treating it as proof that every decision must be made tonight.
Overnight into Sunday: The Aries Moon begins activating Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. Inspiration, emotion, intuition and the desire for change may all arrive together. Energy may return before complete clarity does. The first impulse can be meaningful without being the final direction.
Monday afternoon: Jupiter in Leo forms an exact trine with Saturn in Aries. This supports sustainable growth, realistic optimism and building a structure capable of holding a larger possibility.
Tuesday morning: Mars in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries. Effort meets limitation, particularly around family, care, responsibility and personal capacity. What becomes difficult may reveal where more support, stronger boundaries or a different strategy is required.
Today is the breath between revelation and action. Let Pisces help the dust settle. Let Aries relight the flame.
And remember: the match can be in your hand without needing to set fire to the entire weekend.
