Opening Note

A Little Hello Before We Begin ☕

Good afternoon, my Soul 101 family. 🤍

First, let me apologize for missing yesterday's forecast and for today’s very late arrival. I would like to blame birthday privileges, because yesterday was my birthday, but a technical hiccup deserves most of the credit. 😅

Our membership spaces are almost ready. Rather than keep predicting an opening time while my life demonstrates its enthusiasm for improvisation, I’ll make a separate post and send an email when the new spaces are ready to welcome you. That post will include the details and joining links, it will also be shared on Facebook and remain pinned on the main Horoscope page for easy reference.

Thank you for your patience and for being part of these beginnings.

For now, let’s meet the day where we are. There is still an afternoon and evening to care for, even if the morning didn’t follow the itinerary.

Your Emotional Weather Forecast 🌤️

🌡️ Temperature - Cool and purposeful, with pockets of emotional heat. You may want to get something handled while also needing more time, support, or breathing room. Let both needs inform your next step.

🌧️ Precipitation - Scattered Sensitivity Showers around expectations. A changed plan, an unanswered request, or the feeling that you should be doing more may touch a vulnerable place. Notice what you had hoped for before deciding what the disappointment means.

💨 Winds - Variable through the afternoon, shifting this evening. During today’s long void Moon, your usual sense of direction may feel less distinct. Give your attention a manageable task or a specific question. A different perspective may become useful later.

⚠️ Warnings - Trying to create certainty by increasing pressure. Notice when you begin pushing yourself, repeatedly checking for reassurance, or expecting someone else to know what you need. Pause long enough to make a clear request.

⛅ Outlook - Practical adjustments and room for a fresh view. You don’t have to recover the day you imagined. Start with the circumstances you have and ask what would genuinely help.

Today’s Theme: Let What You Need Shape What Comes Next

It is possible to recognize a need and still leave it out of the decision. We can notice that we are tired, then plan as though we aren’t. We can realize that we need help, but still keep trying to manage alone. We know an agreement feels unclear, then hope the uncertainty will resolve itself without a conversation.

Today invites us to take that awareness one step further.

The First Quarter Moon occurred at 9:12 AM Pacific, with the Capricorn Moon square the Libra Sun at 25°18′. This brings practical responsibilities into conversation with balance, cooperation, and the expectations we carry within relationships.

An intention or goal may be meeting the "real-life" circumstances in which it needs to function.

Ask:

“What have I learned since I made this plan?”

“What do I need now?”

“How could that information change my next step?”

Perhaps you need to simplify a task. Perhaps someone needs an update. Perhaps you can continue comfortably once you have eaten, rested, or asked a clarifying question. Let what you need be part of the next step.

A Little Pause Before We Go Deeper ☕

The full forecast remains available to everyone while our membership spaces take shape.

Once these changes take effect, The opening Note, The Emotional Weather Forecast and Theme of the day (As Above) will remain free. The deeper forecast will be available through a standalone forecast subscription or the full Soul 101 Membership, which will also include Mandy’s Treehouse.

A separate post will explain the timing, options, and joining details when everything is ready. For now, you’re welcome to keep exploring and enjoying the full forecast. 🤍

Heart Energy

Make Room for the Need Beneath the Expectation

The Capricorn Moon’s square to the Libra Sun may give today an emotional tension between handling responsibilities and maintaining balance with others.

You may want to be dependable. You may also need support. You may care about someone’s disappointment while knowing you cannot comfortably do what they hoped.

Later, the Moon squares Chiron in Aries at 4:00 PM Pacific, adding a more sensitive note to our afternoon.

Notice whether a practical difficulty is becoming a statement about who you are.

“I need help with this” might become “I should be able to manage alone.”

“I need to change the arrangement” might become “I’m letting everyone down.”

Those added meanings can make an ordinary need harder to express.

Try asking:

“What do I believe it says about me to need this?”

You can examine that belief while still responding to the immediate situation. Asking for assistance, clarifying a limit, or acknowledging disappointment gives you something useful to work with.

Mind, Body & Momentum

Give the Pattern a Practical Response

Saturn meets Pallas in Aries at 4:56 PM Pacific.

Saturn brings themes of structure, responsibility, and limits. Pallas is an asteroid associated in astrology with strategy and recognizing patterns. Together, they offer a useful prompt to examine how you are approaching a recurring difficulty.

If something keeps becoming harder than expected, look at the conditions around it.

Are you allowing enough time? Do you have the information you need? Are too many decisions waiting until the last minute? Does a shared task have a clear division of responsibility?

Choose one adjustment you can actually make.

A repeated rush might need a smaller task list. An unclear handoff might need a written agreement. A project that repeatedly consumes your evening might need a defined stopping point.

Your body belongs in this assessment, too.

Notice whether your plan assumes uninterrupted concentration, unlimited energy, or a version of you who never needs a pause. Build from the capacity available today.

Perception & Possibility

Give an Unclear Afternoon a Smaller Question 🧭

The Moon is void of course from 9:12 AM until 6:39 PM Pacific, a little over nine hours.

For those new to our forecast, this simply means it has completed its final major aspect to another planet before leaving Capricorn. Contacts with Chiron, Juno, and declination contacts still occur.

Some may experience a void period as reduced direction: several choices may seem equally reasonable, or the usual pull toward a particular next step may feel quieter.

If that fits your afternoon, ask a smaller question.

Instead of:

“What should I do with the rest of my life?”

Try:

“What would make the next hour easier?”

Instead of:

“How do I get everything back on track?”

Try:

“Which unfinished piece am I ready to give my attention?”

A void Moon doesn't mean our day can't or won't be productive. This energy simply lends itself more to finishing projects rather than beginning them.

Relationships, Worth & Personal Power

Say What You Are Asking For

The Moon meets Juno in Capricorn at 4:30 PM Pacific, bringing a supporting focus to partnership and commitment. Meanwhile, Venus retrograde in Scorpio approaches its square to Pluto in Aquarius, becoming exact Monday at 11:56 PM Pacific.

This developing pattern gives us a deeper question about reassurance, attachment, and the meaning we place on someone else’s response. What are you hoping an answer will confirm?

That you matter?

That someone is still committed?

That you won’t have to handle something alone?

That a change hasn’t erased what you share?

Naming that hope can help you make a more honest request.

“I’m feeling uncertain about our plan. Can we check what we’ve agreed to?”

“I could use some reassurance that we’re still working on this together.”

“I need to know whether you can help so I can make another arrangement if necessary.”

Then give the other person room to answer.

Sometimes the answer will reveal a misunderstanding. Sometimes it will reveal a genuine difference or an unreliable pattern that needs attention. Emotional awareness includes noticing what is actually happening between people.

You can acknowledge your feelings, check your assumptions, and still take someone’s behavior seriously.

Afternoon & Evening

Check What Would Help Now

The Moon squares Chiron at 4:00 PM Pacific, then meets Juno at 4:30 PM. These contacts bring our attention to sensitive feelings and expectations within relationships. If someone changes a plan or doesn’t offer the help you hoped for, pause before deciding what it means.

You might ask:

“Did I tell them what I needed, or was I hoping they would notice?”

If you did make a clear agreement, you can address that directly: “I was counting on your help. Can we still work something out?”

At 4:56 PM, Saturn meets Pallas, an asteroid associated with strategy. This gives us a practical question: “What could make this easier next time?” A clearer request, a simpler

plan, or more time may help.

The Moon enters Aquarius at 6:39 PM, ending today’s void period. If you’ve spent the afternoon going over the same problem, try changing something small. Step outside, move to another room, or ask someone how they see it. You may notice an option you missed while focusing on how things were supposed to go.

Late tonight, the Moon sextiles Neptune at 11:25 PM, offering a gentle invitation to unwind with music, something creative, or a quiet moment.

As the Moon approaches Pluto and a square to Venus after midnight, our overnight focus turns toward feelings that carry extra weight. If you catch yourself rereading a message or wanting to settle a disagreement immediately, ask:

“Does this need an answer tonight, or would I rather talk when we’ve both had some rest?”

You can take a feeling seriously and still choose a better time for the conversation.

What Today May Feel Like

  • Wanting to follow through while recognizing that the original plan needs more or different support.

  • Feeling uncertain about which task deserves your attention.

  • Becoming uncomfortable when asking for help or changing an agreement.

  • Realizing that a practical limit has become a judgment about yourself.

  • Wanting reassurance, but noticing that repeatedly checking for it isn’t settling the feeling.

  • Finding relief in a specific request or a simpler next step.

  • Recognizing a recurring difficulty and making one useful adjustment.

  • Discovering a different perspective after stepping away for a minute.

Supportive Actions

  • Make the question smaller. Focus on what would help the next hour, not your entire lifetime.

  • Separate the circumstance from the judgment. “This needs more time” gives you information you can use. "I should be closer to finished" is a judgement.

  • Clarify a shared commitment. Ask who is doing what and when.

  • Notice the purpose of reassurance. Name what you are hoping to feel more certain about.

  • Change one recurring condition. Adjust the timing, instructions, workload, or support around a repeated difficulty.

  • Allow a fresh perspective. A pause or another person’s view may reveal an option you hadn’t considered.

Where This May Show Up

By Rising Sign

Aries Rising: Responsibilities and visibility receive attention through the afternoon. Ask what kind of support would make a commitment workable. This evening, friends, community, or a shared goal may help you consider another approach.

Taurus Rising: Learning, travel, and larger plans may need a realistic adjustment. Identify the information that would help you proceed. Tonight, bring that broader understanding into a practical conversation about direction or responsibility.

Gemini Rising: Shared resources and commitments invite clarity. Say what you can contribute and what you need to know from someone else. This evening may offer room to step back and consider the larger possibilities.

Cancer Rising: Partnerships and expectations are in focus. Let your own needs be part of the agreement. Tonight, a conversation about support, trust, or shared responsibilities may help you understand what is workable.

Leo Rising: Daily work and care for your body deserve a plan that fits your current capacity. Simplify a recurring source of strain. As evening arrives, make room for another person’s perspective without overlooking your own.

Virgo Rising: Creativity and enjoyment invite attention. Notice what helps you participate without turning the experience into a performance standard. Tonight, consider one small routine that could make more room for what you enjoy.

Libra Rising: Home, family, and your private foundations may need tending. Ask what would help you feel supported where you are. This evening, leave room for play, creativity, or pleasure alongside the practical arrangements.

Scorpio Rising: Conversations and everyday information benefit from a clear question. Check what was meant before carrying an assumption forward. Tonight, bring your attention toward comfort, home, and the conditions that help you settle.

Sagittarius Rising: Resources and priorities invite an honest assessment. Consider your time and energy alongside money. This evening, putting a concern into words may help you identify a useful next step.

Capricorn Rising: With the Moon in your sign through the afternoon, include your own experience in the plan. Name a need before automatically taking on another responsibility. Tonight, consider how your resources can support that need.

Aquarius Rising: Quiet, rest, and work behind the scenes may suit the afternoon. Give yourself room to process before explaining everything. When the Moon enters your sign tonight, notice what you want to bring forward and express.

Pisces Rising: Community, friendships, and future hopes receive attention. Clarify what you can offer and where collaboration would help. This evening, leave space for privacy and recovery from the day’s demands.

A Note from Mandy ☕

Yesterday’s technology hiccup interrupted what I had planned. Today, I noticed how tempting it was to fit everything I hadn’t finished into an already full day and call it catching up.

Sometimes we make today pay for what we think we should have accomplished yesterday.

We carry the unfinished tasks forward without checking whether there is actually room for them. The time we lost is gone, but somehow we expect ourselves to produce as though it isn’t.

I think part of that comes from wanting to feel reliable. We care about our commitments. We don’t want to disappoint anyone. Getting everything done can feel like a way to erase the discomfort of things not going to plan.

But “something interrupted my plans” can quietly become “I didn’t do enough.” and those are very different things.

Today, I’m practicing noticing when disappointment starts writing the schedule.

Before adding yesterday’s list to today’s, I can ask:

“What actually needs doing today?”

“What am I adding because I feel guilty about the delay?”

“What changed, and have I adjusted my expectations to account for it?”

“What can I reasonably follow through on now?”

Some things may still need finishing. Someone may need an update. A commitment may need a new timeline. We can tend to those responsibilities without treating an interruption as a personal shortcoming.

My Libra would like yesterday’s list and today’s list to know that sharing a page does not magically create more hours in the day. 😅

Perhaps that’s our practice today: allowing new information to change what we expect of ourselves. A plan made before the hiccup may need revising after it. We’re allowed to account for what actually happened.

Yesterday tells us where we’re starting. It doesn’t have to decide how hard we are on ourselves today. 🤍

Looking Ahead

The Moon remains in Aquarius tomorrow. Overnight, it meets Pluto at 12:49 AM Pacific and squares Venus at 1:52 AM, drawing attention to the Venus–Pluto square that becomes exact Monday at 11:56 PM.

We’ll look more closely at reassurance, attachment, and how to respond when a feeling carries a great deal of meaning.

For tonight, you don’t need to settle every open question. Notice what needs care, communicate what is useful, and give yourself room to return with a clearer perspective.

With love,

Mandy 🤍
