Opening Note
A Little Hello Before We Begin ☕
Good morning, my Soul 101 family. 🤍
A quick membership update before we check the celestial weather: I’m still working on the finishing touches, but we are on track for our official launch on Saturday.
I had hoped to have all the details ready for today, but my perfectionism says they need a little more attention. Friday’s forecast will have everything you need to prepare for the change, including the membership details and links to join.
Thank you for your patience while I get everything ready to open the doors to this next chapter.
Now, let’s see what Thursday has for us.
Emotional Weather Forecast 🌤️
🌡️ Temperature - Mild, with brief patches of heat. You may find yourself interested and engaged, then impatient when something interrupts your pace. Give enthusiasm a manageable task and frustration a moment to explain itself.
🌧️ Precipitation - Scattered Sensitivity Showers. A disappointment or awkward exchange may touch a need for appreciation, reassurance, or consideration. Letting yourself name that need can help you decide what to ask for.
💨 Winds - Variable, with occasional headwinds. There may be plenty to think about, but yet, not a clear sense of which direction to take. When thoughts start circling, identify the actual question you need answered.
⚠️ Warnings - Irritation becoming interpretation. Notice the leap from “this is taking longer than I expected” to “nothing ever works out.” Stay close to what you actually know before deciding what it means.
⛅ Outlook - Somewhere useful to put your attention. You don’t need to resolve every uncertainty to care for something that matters. Choose one meaningful, manageable action and give yourself permission to complete it.
Today’s Theme: You Don’t Have to Solve Everything to Tend What Matters
Yesterday, we made room for small changes and the possibility of saying, “I don’t know yet.”
Today, we can practice living alongside an unanswered question.
It is easy to believe we need to settle one thing before we can give our attention to anything else. Once we know how a conversation will turn out, we’ll be able to concentrate. Once we feel confident about the plan, we’ll begin the next task. Once the future feels clearer, we’ll let ourselves enjoy what is here.
Sometimes a decision genuinely does need to come first. Other times, we put more of our lives on hold than the uncertainty requires.
The Virgo Moon remains void of course throughout the day, while Jupiter’s connection with Vesta gives us an energetic invitation to return to meaningful effort.
Ask:
“What can I care for right now, even while this question remains open?”
An unresolved part of your life does not have to occupy every available part of your day.
A Little Pause Before We Go Deeper ☕
When our membership changes officially take effect Saturday, this will be where the free daily forecast ends. The Opening Note, Emotional Weather Forecast, and Theme of the Day will remain available to everyone.
The full forecast below offers a deeper look at the astrology, emotional literacy reflections, supportive actions, and guidance for each Rising Sign. It will be available through the standalone forecast subscription and the full Soul 101 Membership.
For now, you can keep exploring the format. Friday’s forecast will include the details and links to help you choose what fits you. 🤍
Heart Energy
Find the Need Beneath the Irritation
A small frustration can carry more than its immediate circumstances.
Someone changes a plan, and you feel overlooked. A reply is brief, and you wonder whether you have upset them. You do something helpful, and the lack of acknowledgment stings.
The feeling deserves attention. The explanation you attach to it may still need checking.
Try separating the pieces:
What happened? What did I feel? What am I assuming? What would help me understand or respond?
For example:
“They haven’t replied” describes what you know.
“I feel disappointed because I was hoping to hear from them” names your experience.
“They don’t value me” is a conclusion that may require more information.
You can acknowledge the disappointment without making yourself defend a conclusion you haven’t confirmed.
From there, you might check in, clarify a timeline, or decide how long you are willing to wait.
Mind, Body & Momentum
Give Your Attention a Manageable Job
With the Moon in Virgo, our reflective focus remains on the details of daily life: what needs attention, what helps, and what could function more smoothly.
A minor Moon–Mars contact around 9:11 AM Pacific gives us a useful reminder to watch the point where wanting to get something done becomes rushing ourselves or someone else.
Before increasing your effort, check what is slowing you down.
Do you understand the task? Do you have what you need? Have you allowed enough time? Are you trying to do several things at once?
Choose a task with a recognizable finish.
“Work on the house” can expand indefinitely.“Clear the kitchen table” gives you an endpoint.
“Figure everything out” is difficult to begin. “Write down the two questions I need answered” is something you can do.
Notice your physical pace, too. If your jaw is tight or you are rushing through every movement, pause long enough to decide whether that urgency belongs to the situation.
Perception & Possibility
When There Is No Obvious Next Step
Our unusually long void Moon continues until approximately 1:10 AM Friday, when the Moon enters Libra. Minor aspects and contacts with other bodies still occur.
Some people experience a void period as a lack of clear direction. Several choices may seem equally reasonable, or the usual sense of “this is what I want to do next” may feel less distinct.
If that is your experience, try giving the choice a smaller job.
You don’t have to decide what you will want forever. You may only need to decide what would serve the next hour.
What has an actual deadline? What would make the rest of the day easier? What interests you enough to begin? What can wait without creating a problem? A small preference can be enough when the stakes are small.
And if you feel focused and productive, there is no need to question that experience just because the Moon is void. Keep responding to the day you are actually having. Astrology offers a framework for reflection; your experiences still deserve the deciding vote.
Relationships, Worth & Personal Power
Make Room for Different Wants
Venus continues its retrograde in Scorpio as its square to Mars in Leo draws closer.
This brings attention to what happens when affection, desire, independence, and expectations do not line up neatly.
You can care about someone and want a different plan.
You can appreciate an invitation and lack the energy to accept it.
You can understand why something matters to another person and still need a boundary around your participation.
Try making both parts of your experience visible:
“I want to spend time with you, but tonight I need something quiet.”
“I understand why you’d like an answer now. But, I need until tomorrow to make a commitment.”
“I’m happy to help with this part. However, I can’t take on the whole thing.”
Another person may still feel disappointed. Their response can be heard without automatically requiring you to reverse your answer. The goal is to give the conversation enough honesty that both people know what they are working with.
Afternoon & Evening
Check the Detail, Then Notice the Loop
The Moon’s minor contact with Mercury around 5:05 PM Pacific offers a reminder to leave room for clarification. What you intend to communicate may need a second sentence, a question, or a less hurried moment.
Meanwhile, Mercury approaches a quincunx with Saturn, exact at 1:55 AM Friday. We can use this energy to examine the difference between useful review and repetitive doubt.
Useful review identifies something: A missing detail. An unrealistic timeline. An instruction that needs explaining.
Repetitive doubt may keep asking whether something is good enough without identifying what would make it complete.
If you find yourself checking again, ask:
“What am I checking for, and have I found anything new?”
Make the correction, if you can name one. If you cannot name one, consider whether more checking is helping.
Later, Jupiter trines Vesta around 8:58 PM. Vesta is an asteroid associated in astrology with devotion and sustained attention; Jupiter brings themes of meaning and possibility.
Our invitation is to reconnect with why an effort matters to us. That might help you give a worthwhile task your attention or recognize why you want to return to it after some rest.
What This May Feel Like
Caring about a project while feeling uncertain about its larger direction.
Having several workable options and no strong preference.
Becoming irritated by an interruption or a change of pace.
Wanting acknowledgment but struggling to ask for it directly.
Rechecking a message or decision without finding anything new to change.
Feeling more settled after completing one small, meaningful task.
Discovering that an unanswered question can remain open while you enjoy something else.
These are possibilities to reflect on, not a list of experiences you are expected to have.
Supportive Actions
Separate the fact from the interpretation. Write down what happened before deciding what it says about you or someone else.
Choose one task with an endpoint. Make it clear enough that you can recognize completion.
Name the question you need answered. Replace “I’m confused about everything” with something specific you can investigate.
Give a small choice permission to be small. A workable option does not need an elaborate defense.
Ask for clarification before reacting to an assumption. “Did you mean…?” can open a much more useful conversation.
Let a completed task stay complete. Reopen it when there is a reason you can name.
Set aside some attention for what you enjoy. Uncertainty does not have to consume all of it.
Where This May Show Up
By Rising Sign
Aries Rising: Daily routines and responsibilities remain in focus. Give one recurring source of friction a practical response. A clearer instruction, a simpler process, or a realistic stopping time may help.
Taurus Rising: Creativity and enjoyment invite your attention. Let yourself participate in something before deciding how valuable or productive it will be. You can enjoy the experience as it unfolds.
Gemini Rising: Home and private life may benefit from a little care. Choose one thing that would make your space or evening easier. A small household agreement may be more useful than silently carrying an expectation.
Cancer Rising: Conversations, errands, and information take the foreground. Check what was actually said before filling in what was meant. Give yourself permission to ask a straightforward question.
Leo Rising: Your resources and priorities invite review. Consider where your time, money, and effort are going. Choose one practical action that supports what you currently value.
Virgo Rising: With the Moon in your sign, notice how quickly you begin correcting yourself. Describe what you need before deciding what you should be doing differently. Your preferences belong in the plan.
Libra Rising: Quiet, privacy, and unfinished inner conversations may need room. Write down a thought you keep revisiting, then identify whether it needs action, information, or time.
Scorpio Rising: Community, friendships, and future hopes are highlighted. You can contribute without having every answer. Be specific about what you can offer and what you would appreciate receiving.
Sagittarius Rising: Work and visible responsibilities may bring questions about expectations. Clarify what completion looks like. You may be carrying standards that were never part of the actual agreement.
Capricorn Rising: Learning and larger questions invite exploration. Follow one useful thread without requiring it to settle your whole perspective. Understanding can develop through a series of smaller discoveries.
Aquarius Rising: Shared resources and responsibilities benefit from clear language. Check who is handling what, and whether an arrangement still works for everyone involved. An unspoken assumption is worth discussing.
Pisces Rising: One-to-one relationships receive attention. Make room for the possibility that someone’s preference differs from yours without making that difference a measure of their care.
A Note from Mandy ☕
Yesterday, we talked about allowing ourselves not to know. Today, I’m thinking about how much space an unanswered question can take up.
Sometimes we keep returning to it as though one more round of thinking will finally make everything clear. Meanwhile, there are other parts of our lives asking for a little attention, too.
I have made a intentional effort to practice noticing when I have done all the thinking I can do for now. Can I leave the question open and still enjoy my coffee? Can I be present for a conversation? Can I care for something that is ready for my attention, even while another part is still taking shape?
So perhaps today we can ask:
“What else is here, besides the thing I haven’t figured out?”
There may be something worth enjoying, someone worth listening to, or one small thing we are ready to do. We are allowed to give those parts of life some room, too. 🤍
Looking Ahead
The Moon enters Libra early Friday, ending the long void period. Mercury’s adjustment with Saturn becomes exact shortly afterward, so we’ll continue paying attention to clear expectations and the pressure we put on ourselves to have an immediate answer.
Saturday brings the Libra New Moon and our official Soul 101 membership launch. Friday’s forecast will include the details and joining links so you can choose how you would like to continue exploring with me.
.
With Love,
Mandy 🤍
