Opening Note

A Little (Longer) Hello Before We Begin ☕

Good morning, my Soul 101 family. 🤍

I'm so very close to having Membership and subscription links for you. They will be in Thursday’s forecast, ahead of our planned Friday change to forecast access. My inner perfectionist apologizes for the delay.

In the meantime, I want to share a little of what is taking shape.

By Friday, the homepage will offer three places to begin exploring: Meet Your Soul, Meet Your Emotions, and Meet the Sky. These free introductions will help you find your way into the parts of Soul 101 that interest you.

Mandy’s Treehouse, is the membership space for the Soul 101 Paid Membership launching Friday. Inside, we’ll explore ways to better understand yourself and bring that understanding into everyday life. "De-Fine Your Life" will help you examine the meanings you give familiar words, like success, worth, and responsibility and how those definitions shape your expectations and choices. "Science of the Obvious" will invite you to look again at everyday experiences and notice patterns or assumptions you may have been overlooking. Both will begin as blog-style teachings and reflections, with questions you can carry into your everyday life.

Alongside those two blogs, emotional literacy teachings and simple practices will help you put words to what you feel, explore its connection to your beliefs and needs, and consider how you want to respond.

"The Little Things" will offer invitations to try small acts of care for yourself, someone else, or both based on the day's astrological energy, with space to share our experiences. Our community spaces will give us somewhere to ask questions, exchange experiences, and learn together.

My hope is that you leave with something you can use: a clearer way to express a need, a familiar belief you’re ready to question, or a small choice that makes your day feel more like your own. 🤍

I’m giving these areas the attention they need so that when you step inside, you have somewhere useful to begin.

Now, let’s give Wednesday’s enthusiasm somewhere to go.

Your Emotional Weather Forecast 🌤️

🌡️ Temperature - Warming, with an afternoon glow. Interest and motivation may become easier to access as the day develops. Give that warmth a manageable outlet: something to try, make, learn, or move forward.

🌧️ Precipitation - Brief showers of sensitivity. A change of plan or an unmet expectation may bring a feeling to the surface. Name what matters to you before deciding what someone else’s behavior means.

💨 Winds - Gusty early, becoming easier to work with. Restlessness may send your attention in several directions. As ideas gather shape, choose one you can explore without rearranging your entire life.

⚠️ Warnings - Enthusiasm spending tomorrow’s energy. Feeling ready for more does not require committing to everything. Check your time, resources, and existing responsibilities before adding another yes.

⛅ Outlook - A useful step can build real confidence. You may learn more from a small attempt than from another round of imagining every possible outcome. Let experience give you something concrete to work with.

Today’s Theme: Give Your Enthusiasm Somewhere to Go

Yesterday, we made room for a different approach. Today, we can begin finding out what that approach looks like in practice.

The Moon travels through Sagittarius all day, with no void-of-course period. During the afternoon, it forms trines with Mars in Leo and Saturn in Aries, connecting three fire signs in a temporary grand-trine pattern. This energy brings together curiosity, courage, and commitment.

You may feel interested in something before you know exactly where it will lead. That interest can be enough to begin exploring. Try the first lesson. Sketch the idea. Ask the question. Spend a little time with the project that keeps catching your attention.

Then notice what you learn.

Enthusiasm becomes useful when we give it a shape that fits the life we actually have. A

little structure can help: a clear next step, an amount of time we can offer, or a place to stop and reassess.

Ask:

“What am I interested enough to try and what would make that manageable today?”

You don’t have to turn every spark into a lifelong commitment. Some things become meaningful because we give ourselves a chance to experience them.

A Little Pause Before We Go Deeper ☕

Beginning Friday, this will be where the free daily forecast ends. The Opening Note, The Emotional Weather Forecast and Theme of the Day will remain available to everyone.

The full forecast (Everything Below) includes the astrology behind our reflections, emotional literacy, supportive actions, and guidance for each Rising Sign. Access will be available through the standalone forecast subscription or the full Soul 101 Membership. Through Thursday, the full forecast remains here for you to explore. Tomorrow’s opening will include the details and joining links so you can choose what fits you. 🤍

Heart Energy

What Is Your Restlessness Asking For?

The Sagittarius Moon opposes Uranus in Gemini around 4:18 AM Pacific, followed by a semisquare to the Libra Sun around 6:14 AM.

These early contacts bring our attention to the tension between wanting freedom and living alongside plans, expectations, and other people. If the morning feels unsettled, get specific about what is bothering you.

Perhaps you want to change everything when what you really need is a little flexibility.

Perhaps you are irritated by a request because you have not had time to choose where your own attention goes. Perhaps something familiar has become so automatic that you have stopped asking whether it still works.

Try:

“What feels restrictive?”

“What choice would I like to have?”

“What could I ask for or adjust?”

“I need ten minutes before we discuss this” gives a feeling somewhere useful to go.

“I’d like to do this a different way today” opens a conversation.

Restlessness can begin an investigation. Give yourself enough room to understand it before making a sweeping decision.

Mind, Body & Momentum

Give the Spark a Structure

The Moon forms a trine with Mars in Leo around 12:50 PM, then a trine with Saturn in Aries around 2:44 PM. Mars and Saturn are themselves approaching a trine, so the Moon brings their developing relationship into the day’s emotional focus.

Mars asks us to participate. Saturn asks what will help us sustain that participation.

Choose something you can act on, then make the task clear.

“I want to be more creative” might become twenty minutes making something.

“I want this project to move forward” might become finishing one page or step.

“I want to feel less overwhelmed” might become identifying what actually needs to happen today.

Your body belongs in the plan, too. Notice whether you need food, water, movement, a more comfortable position, or a break before increasing your effort. A manageable commitment gives you a chance to follow through. Following through gives you something you can work with.

And if motivation remains quiet today, a modest step still counts. You do not have to feel fiery to participate.

Perception & Possibility

Let Experience Add to the Picture

The Libra Sun approaches a sextile with Jupiter in Leo, exact early Thursday at 1:21 AM Pacific. Jupiter is also the ruler of our Sagittarius Moon, making its connection with the Sun especially relevant to the day’s themes of possibility and perspective.

Our invitation is to make room for a little more than the outcome we have already imagined.

Sometimes we dismiss an interest because we assume we will be bad at it.

Sometimes we avoid asking because we think we know the answer.

Sometimes we wait to feel completely confident before allowing ourselves to participate.

A small experiment can give us information those assumptions cannot. If you believe, “I never finish anything,” choose something with a clear, realistic endpoint and observe what happens. If you struggle, look at the conditions: was the task too large, the instruction unclear, or the time unavailable?

That gives you something you can respond to. Optimism can help you consider an opportunity. Practical questions help you decide how to explore it.

“What might be possible and what is one way I could find out?”

Relationships, Worth & Personal Power

Leave Room for an Honest Yes

Venus remains retrograde in Scorpio, approaching a quincunx with Uranus in Gemini, exact Friday.

This brings attention to adjustments between closeness and independence, familiar agreements and changing preferences. You may want connection while needing more choice about how that connection happens. You may discover that something you once enjoyed no longer fits in quite the same way. You may feel enthusiastic about an invitation and still need to check your capacity before accepting.

Try allowing that pause:

“That sounds great, but let me check what I can realistically offer.”

“I’d like to spend time together, but could we make it something quieter?”

“I’m interested, but I need more information before I commit.”

An honest yes has room for your actual circumstances.

And when someone else needs to adjust an arrangement, give yourself a moment before interpreting that adjustment as a statement about your worth. You can ask what has changed and decide together what works now.

Afternoon & Evening

Make Room for the Person Doing the Work (You..lol)

A Sun–Mars quintile around 3:55 PM and Mercury–Saturn biquintile around 5:15 PM add smaller themes of creative action and practical thinking. These are minor aspects, useful as supporting details. They invite us to experiment with a method: simplify the instructions, change the order, or find a clearer way to communicate the idea.

Between them, the Moon trines Pallas around 4:25 PM. Pallas is an asteroid associated in astrology with patterns and strategy, giving us another prompt to look at how the pieces fit together.

Then Vesta squares Ceres around 5:38 PM. Vesta speaks to devotion and focus; Ceres to nourishment and care. Our evening question becomes:

“Does my plan include what I need while I carry it out?”

Finishing a useful piece of work may feel satisfying. Let that satisfaction have a moment before adding another task.

Later, minor lunar contacts with Juno around 8:10 PM and Chiron around 9:26 PM offer a gentle reminder to be considerate around agreements and sensitive spots. If something lands awkwardly, ask what was meant. If you are tired, say so. A conversation can sometimes improve with a clearer request or a rested return to it.

What Today May Feel Like

  • Wanting more flexibility in a plan that felt fine yesterday.

  • Feeling drawn toward learning, creating, or trying something different.

  • Finding it easier to begin once the task has a clear shape.

  • Discovering that practical structure helps you enjoy an interest.

  • Feeling hopeful and tempted to promise more than you can comfortably provide.

  • Wanting both connection and room to make your own choices.

  • Recognizing that a productive day still needs a reasonable stopping point.

These are possibilities not predictions, and not experiences you need to make yourself have. Your actual lived experience always remains the authority.

Supportive Actions

  • Give one interest a small experiment. Choose something you can try with the resources you already have.

  • Name what feels restrictive. Identify the particular adjustment you need before discarding the whole plan.

  • Define the next step. Make it clear enough that you know where to begin and when it is complete.

  • Let new information update an old assumption. Notice what actually happens when you participate.

  • Check your capacity before saying yes. Include the commitments you have already made.

  • Build care into the task. Give food, rest, movement, and transitions a place in the schedule.

  • Notice what you enjoyed. Your curiosity and satisfaction are worth learning about, even when they do not immediately become something productive.

Where This May Show Up

By Rising Sign

Aries Rising: The Sagittarius Moon highlights learning, perspective, and exploration. Give a subject that interests you a little attention, then find one way to use what you discover. You can expand your understanding through a manageable experience.

Taurus Rising: Shared resources, trust, and mutual responsibilities receive attention. A practical conversation may help turn an uncertain arrangement into something clearer. Ask what each person can contribute and what information is still needed.

Gemini Rising: One-to-one relationships are in focus. With the Moon opposing Uranus in your sign early, notice where togetherness and personal freedom need a better agreement. Make a specific request that leaves room for both people.

Cancer Rising: Daily routines, work, and care for your body invite adjustment. Try one change that makes a recurring task easier. A routine earns its place by supporting the life you are living.

Leo Rising: Creativity, pleasure, and personal expression receive attention. The Moon’s trine to Mars in your sign offers a useful reflection on participating more openly. Make something, share an idea, or enjoy an activity before judging how impressive it is.

Virgo Rising: Home and private life are highlighted. Choose an improvement that helps you feel more comfortable or supported. A small household task or a clear conversation about needs can give your energy somewhere constructive to go.

Libra Rising: Communication, learning, and your immediate surroundings are in focus. Give an idea words that another person can work with. Ask the question, write the message, or complete one useful piece of a larger conversation.

Scorpio Rising: Money, time, and personal priorities receive attention. Consider what you want to support with your available resources. Enthusiasm can help you recognize an interest; a realistic limit helps you explore it comfortably.

Sagittarius Rising: With the Moon in your sign, make room to notice your own preferences. You may feel ready to express an interest or take a more active role. Choose something that feels meaningful without requiring yourself to do everything at once.

Capricorn Rising: Quiet reflection and work behind the scenes may be most useful. Give an unfinished thought somewhere to live outside your head. A note, a private plan, or a period of rest can help you recognize what comes next.

Aquarius Rising: Friendships, community, and future hopes are highlighted. Share a possibility with someone who may enjoy exploring it with you. Be clear about the next step so that a good conversation has somewhere to lead.

Pisces Rising: Work, direction, and visible responsibilities receive attention. Choose one contribution you are ready to make. Let a realistic plan support your confidence, and clarify expectations before taking on an expanded role.

A Note from Mandy ☕

As I’ve been putting the new Soul 101 pages together, I’ve been thinking about the relationship between excitement and making room for it.

I can feel where I want something to go. I can see the possibilities. Then I sit down to bring it into the world and discover all the little pieces that need attention. The words. The links. The image that needs a tiny adjustment.

My Aries Rising loves the moment an idea arrives. My Libra would like to make sure we can comfortably welcome people into it. I’m learning to let them work together. My excitement tells me there is something I care about or want to explore. Learning to pay attention to my time and capacity helps me keep showing up for it.

Perhaps there is something in your life asking for that same cooperation.

Something you would like to learn. A conversation you want to have. A small change you keep imagining.

What would it look like to give it a little room today?

You can begin with the interest you have and the resources available to you. Then let the experience teach you something. I’m practicing that right alongside you. 🤍

Looking Ahead

Early Thursday, the Sun–Jupiter sextile becomes exact at 1:21 AM Pacific, continuing our reflection on confidence, generosity, and possibility.

Pluto stations direct in Aquarius Thursday at 7:40 PM Pacific, bringing a slower background theme of power and meaningful change into sharper focus.

The Mars–Saturn trine perfects early Friday, so we’ll keep exploring how purposeful action and realistic commitments can support one another.

Thank you for being here while these new spaces take shape.

With love,

Mandy 🤍
