Opening Note
Today’s Theme: Let Your Inspiration Return at a Pace You Can Live With
Hello, sweet friends. I’m sorry for disappearing for a few days. I have Episcleritis in both eyes and it left me unable to see well enough to read or write your forecasts. I finally received the medicated drops I needed, and I’m healing nicely.
Thank you for your patience and for giving me room to be human. I’ve missed being here with you. 🤍
And just in time for Libra’s first full day in the Sun!
Libra has arrived to consider everyone’s perspective, straighten the picture on the wall, and help us make a decision. It may take until next year to make a decision, but you can bet the result will be beautiful. 😂
A cardinal Air sign ruled by Venus, Libra brings initiative to relationships, conversation, fairness, and the art of living together. Her ability to see several sides can make her a thoughtful mediator and occasionally leaves her negotiating with a restaurant menu for hours.
But Libra’s deeper invitation is meaningful: How can we create harmony that makes room for the truth, including our own?
Today, that question meets a lively mental atmosphere. Inspiration may return before we’ve decided where to put it. A new possibility may feel exciting enough to become an entire afternoon’s project.
Enjoy the spark. But give it room to develop.
You can feel ready to reconnect without needing to do everything at once.
The Heart Energy
Make Room for Yourself in the Life You Are Returning To
The Moon spends most of today in Aquarius, offering an invitation to step back, notice patterns, and reconnect with people or possibilities that matter to us. Sometimes a little distance helps us recognize something we couldn’t see while we were busy keeping up.
Perhaps a routine needs more breathing room. Perhaps we miss a creative part of ourselves. Perhaps a responsibility has quietly grown beyond what we originally agreed to carry.
Returning gives us an opportunity to choose how we participate.
Before automatically picking up every familiar expectation, ask whether it still belongs in the day you are creating.
You can care about your work and leave something for tomorrow. You can welcome connection and still need quiet. You can feel enthusiastic without knowing exactly where that enthusiasm will lead.
Let your return include the things that nourish you, too.
Mind and Body
Your Mind May Have More Plans Than Your Afternoon
Mercury in Libra forms a sesquiquadrate with Uranus in Gemini around 11:54 a.m. Pacific.
This minor challenging aspect is associated with quick insights, mental restlessness, and the temptation to move before the details have caught up.
You may have a wonderful idea while answering a message, remember three unfinished tasks, and suddenly find yourself reorganizing something you weren’t supposed to be working on.
If that sounds familiar, give your thoughts somewhere to land.
Acknowledge or write down the idea. Finish the sentence. Decide which task you are actually doing.
Before adding another commitment, ask:
Do I have room for this today?
Am I interested, or do I feel pressured to act immediately?
What would one manageable step look like?
Around 3:43 p.m., the Moon quincunxes Mars in Cancer. This adjustment aspect can serve as a reminder to check whether your intended pace still fits your available energy.
If irritation appears, consider what needs attention before deciding someone else is the problem. You may need a clearer plan, a direct request, food, a break, or fewer things competing for your attention.
Your capacity deserves a place in the plan.
Perception and Possibility
An Idea Can Be Valuable Before It Is Ready
The Moon is void of course from approximately 1:18 a.m. until 8:23 p.m.
This means the Moon has completed its last major aspect to a planet before changing signs. Other contacts still occur, including today’s aspects to Vesta, Mars, the lunar nodes, and Chiron.
A void Moon does not make the day unproductive or mean that something you begin will fail. It can offer a useful prompt to work with what is already in motion: revisit a draft, reconnect with a project, clarify an intention, or see whether an old approach still fits.
Around 10:17 a.m., the Moon sextiles Vesta, associated with devotion and focused attention.
Together, these themes invite a simple question:
What is here right now that would benefit from my presence before I give my attention to something new?
You don’t have to discard a possibility simply because you cannot pursue it immediately. Keep a place for ideas that deserve another look. Sometimes writing something down is enough to keep it alive while you finish what is in front of you.
Relationships, Worth, and Personal Power
Harmony Needs Your Honest Participation
Libra season draws our attention to relationships, but harmony becomes difficult to sustain when it depends on one person continually editing themselves. Notice where you say “whatever works for you” before considering what works for you.
There are times when flexibility feels generous and easy. There are also times when it becomes a way to avoid the discomfort of having a preference.
Venus, Libra’s ruling planet, is in Scorpio. Through that lens, we’re invited to look beneath pleasant appearances and consider trust, sincerity, and what we truly value. What have you agreed to without discussing the details? What would help you feel more comfortable or supported? What are you hoping someone will understand without being told?
An honest preference gives another person something real to respond to. You can be considerate and specific. You can acknowledge someone’s disappointment without immediately withdrawing your boundary.
While Libra may want everyone comfortable at the table, she deserves a comfortable chair, too.
Communication and Reality
Let Curiosity Get There Before the Conclusion
Today’s Mercury–Uranus contact can be useful for seeing an alternative we hadn’t considered. It can also tempt us to believe the first explanation that arrives with enough force.
A sudden thought may be worth exploring. Give yourself time to find out whether it is accurate.
Before replying to a message or making an assumption, ask:
What was actually said?
What am I adding to it?
Is there another explanation?
What question would help me understand?
If you’re explaining a new idea, begin with the part another person needs to know. You may already have followed it through six possible developments while they are still meeting the first part.
And if a conversation feels unexpectedly sharp, slow the exchange down. “Let me make sure I understood you” can create enough room for a different conversation.
You do not need to abandon your insight to check your facts.
The Evening Shift
You Can Set the Day Down Without Explaining It All
Around 7:39 p.m., the Moon meets the true North Node in Aquarius, followed by a sextile to Chiron around 7:57 p.m.
These contacts offer a gentle reflective theme around belonging, vulnerability, and the willingness to meet ourselves with a little more understanding.
Perhaps there is something you can share without presenting a finished answer. Perhaps someone needs your company more than your advice. Perhaps you simply recognize that a difficult feeling deserves kindness.
At approximately 8:23 p.m., the Moon enters Pisces and the void period ends.
The evening’s energy becomes more receptive and imaginative. Let there be room for music, a quiet conversation, a creative activity, or the pleasure of resting without making rest another improvement project.
You don’t have to turn everything you noticed today into a lesson before bed.
What This May Feel Like
Feeling excited to reconnect with something you love.
Having several ideas arrive before you’ve finished the first.
Wanting conversation while also needing room to think.
Becoming impatient with interruptions or unclear instructions.
Recognizing that an old routine could use an adjustment.
Feeling relief when you name an honest preference.
Discovering that a project still matters, even if your approach has changed.
Wanting a quieter, gentler evening after a mentally busy day.
Supportive Actions for Today
Keep a separate place for ideas that do not need immediate action.
Choose one meaningful priority before opening another task.
Read a message again before responding to what you think it means.
Ask a direct question when information is missing.
Revisit existing work with curiosity.
Include your available energy when making plans.
Leave a little room for enjoyment that does not need to become productive.
A Thought to Sit With
What would I choose today if I trusted that a meaningful beginning does not have to become an immediate commitment?

Aries Rising: Partnerships, friendships, and future plans may bring fresh ideas or useful conversations. Listen before committing yourself to a group’s next adventure. Your enthusiasm can remain intact while you clarify what participation would involve.
Taurus Rising: Daily routines and public responsibilities may need a more workable relationship. An unexpected idea could improve your approach, but check the practical details before changing everything. A small adjustment may accomplish more than a complete overhaul.
Gemini Rising: Creativity, learning, and your sense of possibility are in focus. You may feel drawn toward something that expands your world or gives you a new way to express yourself. Let curiosity lead without requiring every interest to become a project.
Cancer Rising: Home, emotional security, and shared responsibilities may need thoughtful attention. Before assuming you must solve something alone, clarify what support is available. Your needs belong in the conversation about how everyone will manage.
Leo Rising: Conversations and partnerships may move quickly. Give another person time to understand an idea you have already developed in your head. A question may bring you closer than a persuasive explanation.
Virgo Rising: Work, daily habits, and the use of your time or money may benefit from review. Notice where a small task has become a large drain on your attention. Simplifying an arrangement can be a practical act of self-respect.
Libra Rising: With the Sun in your sign and the Moon moving through your creative sector, there is room to reconnect with what feels personally meaningful. Enjoy being interested, expressive, or playful. You don’t need unanimous approval to have a preference.
Scorpio Rising: Quiet reflection and home life may deserve more attention than visible progress. An insight could emerge when you stop trying to force an answer. Consider what would make your surroundings and your expectations of yourself more supportive.
Sagittarius Rising: Friends, community, and everyday conversations may introduce possibilities. Capture what interests you before making promises about the details. You can contribute to a shared vision without taking responsibility for every part of it.
Capricorn Rising: Career direction, visibility, and personal resources may be asking for a clearer agreement. Consider the time and energy behind an opportunity as well as its appeal. Your contribution can be valuable without being unlimited.
Aquarius Rising: The Moon in your sign highlights your needs while Libra season invites broader perspectives. You may be ready to learn, explore, or reconsider a familiar belief. Give yourself permission to investigate before announcing a final conclusion.
Pisces Rising: Much of the day may favor private reflection around trust, shared commitments, or what you are ready to release. You don’t have to explain an experience before you have processed it. With the Moon entering your sign tonight, make room to notice what you need.
A Note From Mandy
Yesterday, I took my own advice.
I stopped worrying about catching up and focused on coming back into balance and health.
That sounds simple when I write it here. In practice, there were still 50 things tugging on me I wanted to finish and ideas I didn’t want to lose. I care about each of you, I care about this work, and I missed being able to do it. But no amount of caring could make my eyes cooperate.
Today, I’m grateful to be healing and happy to be here again. This has been a great reminder that feeling better does not require us to immediately spend every bit of returning energy.
When a little motivation returns, when life becomes less demanding, or when you finally have a moment to yourself, you are allowed to enjoy that space before filling it.
You can pick up what matters with more care about how you carry it.
For me, today begins here, with you, with the sky, and with one piece of work I’m happy to return to.
Thank you for being here. 🤍
Looking Ahead
The Moon remains in Pisces tomorrow as we continue toward Saturday’s Aries Full Moon.
There will be time to explore what is becoming clearer about our own needs and the relationships that matter to us.
Today, give your returning inspiration a welcoming place to land. It can grow from there.
